NAGA awards are the best! Based on which division they are competing in, competitors can win a championship belt or custom medal. NAGA team champions are awarded a tremendous championship belt. Click the links below to see these awards (award style may vary by event).

CHAMPIONSHIP BELTS AWARDED

NAGA awards championship belts to all Children, Teen, Adult, Masters, Director and Executive, Expert Division champions (Limit 1 belt per competitor per event for division winners). Absolute Intermediate, Absolute Expert, Absolute Blue Belt, and Absolute Purple Belt winners are awarded belts. Absolute division winners will win a belt even if they win one in their weight class division. This award is unrivaled in quality and appearance.

NEW CHILDREN'S CHAMPIONSHIP BELTS
NAGA now awards Children's Championship belts to all non-expert Children (13 yrs. & Under) 1st place division winners. Each competitor is limited to one championship belt per event.   

TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP BELTS AWARDED

NAGA awards huge championship belts to the tournament team champions. A team award can be won in Adult Overall, Adult No-Gi, Adult Gi, and Children & Teens Overall. Please make sure your team registers under the same team name, consult your coach to confirm. If your team name does exist multiple times in Smoothcomp, please email Smoothcomp support at [email protected] to consolidate into one correct team name.

OTHER INDIVIDUAL AWARDS

NAGA awards custom gold medals to non-expert adult and teen division champions. Silver and bronze medals are awarded to all 2nd & 3rd place winners. Children, Teen, and Adult competitors who place first and receive a gold medal will have the option to purchase a samurai sword at the NAGA T-shirt booth for a nominal fee. All children (13 and under) who do not place 1st-3rd can request a competitor medal at the front desk or award area at no charge.
